I was told my husband would try to steal my pregnancy pillow, but I didn't know I was going to have to fight the dog off too. 🙈 What has been your ticket to a restful sleep during pregnancy?
Yesterday I saw a lovely anniversary post on @rebeccajoyplumb's feed and I literally had an "OH SHIT" moment. Did I forget my anniversary?? A quick glance at my desk phone... phew! It's tomorrow. I shouted out loud to my coworkers and they asked me, "do you think @mrgoddard forgot." Ummm.. no, probably not. . So THANKFULLY, I had 24 hours to come up with a photo and a perfect caption. Now let me shove my love in your face as one is expected to do on these occasions. . Did I get him a gift? No. Did I get him a card? That's TBD, but I'm pretty confident he knows I love him without all those things. I also find him so hard to shop for! Am I the only one that finds their husband difficult to shop for? He usually buys what he wants unless it's like a $500 pair of shoes... I can't lie though, the shoes were really awesome. Google 'Beverly Hills Hotel shoes'. What would probably make him the happiest right now is if I just let him continue buying baby stuff? Did you see my story on Sunday? The man loves to prepare. Thank goodness because I like to stick my head in the sand like an ostrich. Do they actually stick their heads in the sand? ANYWAYS. . This Fourth of July I'll have known JG eight years and today marks our four year wedding anniversary. Right now, I love him more than I loved him four years ago. He is THE most supportive dad-to-be. I'm not one to be all mushy gushy, but he is. Massages on the daily, encourages me to spend whatever kind of money I need to feel good in my clothing, listens to every concern or crazy rambling (ummm mango lemonade?!) and he takes it all in stride. I could not imagine what this next chapter would be like without him in our lives. However, I do NOT love him when he's hogging the bathroom at night or wanting to hang out with me like all the time, but hey! Whose marriage is perfect?
Things I think about on the daily: home decor (but not really decorating the baby's room 🤣), being pregnant, how long till I can get in bed again, asking myself if I've forgotten anything, telling myself I should go to the gym, what's yummy that I want to eat? · Something that I have NOT thought about in a really long time? I need to post on Instagram. I need to update my blog. And this morning I realized, while I've been living my life, I lost over 200 followers! 😱 Part of my was like, damn you're lame with your 800+ followers, but then I was like NAH - you're cool in real life and I still love you Insta. · I mean, I'm never gonna be insta-famous, but I started a blog a million years ago because I liked the idea of putting cool stuff into the universe and getting feedback on life and cupcakes. Yes, cupcakes. I'm still getting that out of my online/social world. It's just changed. And I bet it will keep changing. · That's what I love so much about stories! 💚Thanks @kailanicole for getting me on the bandwagon. Aren't polls the greatest?! · How do you create real life, social balance? Am I weirdo for even laying here in bed at 6:30 in the morning, thinking about this stuff? Do you even notice when people are absent on social? What's your favorite part about Instagram? Do you even GIF?
Gotta swipe left. This will all make sense in a second. SURPRISE! 😱 Shit is getting so real up in my uterus that it’s time to make the official (blue checkmark please) Instagram debut. DO NOT get mushy on me people. Here are your need-to-know facts: . We were not trying so the way you’re feeling right now… That shocked, what the fuck feeling. That was us three months ago. . As of yesterday, we are officially 20 weeks. Halfway through for those that don’t understand life measured in weeks. 🎉 YAY! . Really not good at math? That means we’re due at the end of July. Babies actually take about ten months. Thanks Hollywood for lying to me all these years. . You’re probably already wondering whether it’s a boy or girl. 💗💙 Well we aren’t finding out the sex. @mrgoddard is not stoked by this decision, but he’s putting up with it. . I don’t fit into any of my work pants anymore. Not awesome. I am still managing to squeeze into a couple pairs of jeans. Does that mean I wear my work pants too tight or I need tighter jeans? . Don’t call me “Mommy”. Don’t refer to this situation as “a bun in the oven”. . DO feel free to give advice. Just know that we may not take it. . Suggest a name, accounts or blogs we should follow and any must-have item(s) for mom or baby. . Hi, my name is Kyle and I'm about to be someone's mom! 🤦🏼‍♀️
