BFFF Recap

Last Thursday I was lucky enough to attend Best Friend For Frosting Re-Launch at West Elm and it's safe to say it was unlike anything I'd ever attended!  I felt like a super cool blogger in New York or Chicago - attending one of those schmooze-y events I see on other blogs.  It's my turn now!  Rubbing elbows with 52 Kitchen Adventures, Crazy For Crust, Domestic Fashionista and Creative Juice - just to name a few.  How awesome is it that I live THIS close to these amazing bloggers?!

When I first arrived it was unreal.  There were so many familiar faces, but I couldn't put my finger on it at first.  It was a bit like seeing a celebrity in real life.  Knowing they look familiar and not being able to place it.  Well you don't know them really, except for their blogs, Instagram and twitter.  These girls let us into their lives on a daily business just like me!  I kept saying, "I feel like I know you from your Instagram" or something along those lines.  It was so lovely to meet everyone IRL. :)

Melissa Johnson of Best Friends For Frosting has grown immensely since I came across her blog a few years ago and she celebrated her latest milestone with an amazing event.  She didn't forget a single detail and I enjoyed them all!  Light and refreshing beverages from Silk Road Soda, Ice Cream from Popcycle Creamery and of COURSE baked goods.  I was kicking myself that I hadn't started this diet (lifestyle change?) sooner, but I'm sad (or proud?) to say I didn't even get a nibble of the beautiful treats!

And of course, no party is complete without a photo booth.  Not just any photo booth of course - Giggle and Riot was there!  Their booths are the best in Sacramento!  If you have yet to come across one then you must not get out much?  You might be able to catch them at GOOD next month or maybe even at HelloXOXO sometime.  Is it just me or does Sacramento keep getting better each year?

Congratulations again Melissa!  I look forward to whatever you have in store for us next!
