Honey Bunny? Pumpkin? Baby Girl?

The girls and I had a silly conversation last night about nicknames and pet names with our loved ones.  Unfortunately what brought it on was Blinddate stating that he didn’t want me to be a “cranky kitty”.  UMMMM NOTHANKYOU!  I also had a guy ask me once to be his baby girl!  I was pretty clear that he wasn’t Nelly or T-Pain.  I thought that only came up in rap songs and not in my real life!?

I am a big fan of pet names, but more so in a joking, silly way.  I would never call you Buttercup in loving, seriousness in front of a group of friends.  That actually makes me think of How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, but that’s besides the point…

What do you and your significant other call each other?  Do you even indulge in pet names?  And please, the more embarrassing the better!
