Kaila and I had my parents over for dinner tonight as a ‘thankyouforeverythingyoudopleasekeepdoingit’.  Kaila made roast beef sandwiches with au jus and I’m pretty sure it was a success.  For one it’s my mom’s favorite, she always orders it when it’s on the menu.  And two, my Dad has never had it before!

As nice as it is to go to someone’s home, sit down, relax and let them cook you dinner. I think it’s just as nice to do that in return.  I felt a sense of accomplishment, to host my parents as they have done for me and my friends so many times. {And will do again, this Saturday.}  I hope that we can do it again soon.  Hopefully for Kaila’s family as well!
